    Count yourselves lucky guys, no chance of snow haiku here till Jan - it's a balmy 18C here today

    4 inches on the mountain tops around us but none here in the valley. and within a twenty-mile radius some places had up to 8 inches of heavy snow that closed schools due to downed trees and power-outages.
